Rain Didn’t Stop the Craic: Laser Tag & Airsoft Fun with Our Youth Scheme!
Week 1, Day 2 of the Walkway Youth Summer Scheme is in the books, and despite the typical gloomy weather, the energy was at an all-time high!
We loaded up and headed over to Forest Fitness NI for an action-packed day featuring intense laser tag battles and precision airsoft shooting. From high-stakes Team Deathmatches to tactical Capture the Flag games, the young people threw themselves into every single challenge. It turns out we have some absolute sharpshooters in our midst!
The highlight of the day was watching everyone step out of their comfort zones, build teamwork skills, and cheer each other on. Massive thanks to the incredible team at Forest Fitness NI for having us, taking great care of the group, and delivering a day full of laughs and unforgettable memories.
About Walkway Community Association
Established in August 1992, Walkway Community Association has been a pillar of local community development and support for over 30 years. What started as a grassroots initiative by dedicated residents in the Ravenscroft, Bloomfield, and Holywood Arches areas has grown into a vibrant hub serving all ages, made possible with the help of the East Belfast Community Council and local partners.
Our mission remains simple and driven by our vision statement: “To work towards making Walkway a community that people feel part of, and play their part in.”
Stay tuned to our blog for more updates on what our young people get up to throughout the rest of the summer scheme!
